Being inspired and motivated by her father, RajvaidyaAmichand Patel (Ph.D., M.S., and B.A.M.S.) and mother Vaidya Lakshmi Patel (B.A.M.S.), Rajashree pursued her career in Ayurveda and obtained a B.A.M.S. degree in 1999 from Gujarat Ayurved University. Later on Rajashree joined her parents in Ayurvedic practice in RajshyamaAyurved Hospital, Gujarat.

For Rajashree, Ayurveda is in her gene and she is very fortunate to have parents, who are devoted and so passionate for Ayurveda. She had an opportunity to practise with her father in his Ayurvedic Hospital in India and worked under his expertise guidance. She gained vast knowledge of Ayurvedic practiceby practicing in a traditional environment before moving to England.

Since moving to the UK in 2004, Rajashree has been practising with same enthusiasm and passion as an Ayurvedic Practitioner forthe past 14 years. Ayurveda is a science of life and she personally believes and practise it in her personal life. Rajashree is registered member of Ayurvedic Practitioners Association UK and practicing in North West London since 2004. She offers Ayurvedic Consultation, Treatments, Yoga and Diet advice.

Rajashree, being an Ayurvedic practitioner, uses a well-balanced diet, lifestyle changes and several herbal remedies to cure many infections by bringing the body back to balance. It is believed that the suffering is due to the imbalance of the three doshas– this is the Ayurvedic way of categorising the body’s three basic energy types: Vata, Pitta and Kapha

  • Vata – Air (the energy of movement)
  • Pitta- Fire (energy of heating or metabolism)
  • Kapha- Water and Earth (the energy that forms the body’s structure)
